I have decided to start my first blog and plan to share with you some of my thoughts and dreams about Flowers, Nature and Art.
I have been extremely passionate about all three as far back as I can remember. Most of what I view on life revolves around the appreciation and joy that these things bring to me and I hope to give you a glimpse into my passion.
My journey began far before I entered school just a little one... at my mother's side watching her tend to and love her own garden. She wasn't a teacher in the "show me sense", but I learned by watching and helping where I could, and thus began my passion and first deep love of the outdoors and nature in my own backyard. After spending hours upon hours in my backyard world with my mother, my appreciation grew out of my free play. She had a great love for her garden and I played not far from her side creating my own imaginary worlds. The value of those free uninterrupted hours of play cannot be weighed or a price could not afford what they have meant to me in my life. At 40-ish I can now see the benefit of my unstructured mornings, days and often late evenings of constant play.
I invite you to enjoy and learn more about what makes me... me. I hope that you can see the joy and value in the simplicity. It is often not the greatest that brings the greatest joys!
Enjoy!

This is a watercolor I did many years ago. I like bright color. I have still not figured out how to express all the colors I see and feel.
